I HAVE SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
We have outlined what you can expect to happen below in three easy steps. We will not move forward with an application until both parents have made the requested payments and submitted both application forms.
FORMS SUBMITTED & PAYMENTS MADE
Once your application has been submitted, FLS will be notified and you will be emailed a copy of your application. A follow up email will be sent to the other side if an application has not been received or the relevant payments made within seven (7) days. If no mutual application has been received within fourteen (14) days, a follow up email will be sent to your solicitor directly and a refund issued to you if no service is to proceed.
INITIAL INTAKE ASSESSMENTS
Once the relevant payments have been received and the Application forms processed, a FLS supervisor will contact both parties to arrange an initial intake. During these meetings, we will review both applications and ensure that the necessary supports and logistics are put in place for supervised contact to proceed safely with the agreement of both parties.
SUPERVISED CONTACT ARRANGED
With joint contributions and informed consent from both parents, an agreed neutral location will be determined for supervised contact to occur. The FLS supervisor will also discuss logistics with you, such as any entry fees, length of time, troubleshooting likely concerns and changeover arrangements at the commencement and/or conclusion of supervised time with both parents.
